In a dystopian future, a 20-year drought has led to a ban on private toilets. Citizens must use public toilets regulated by an evil company that profits by charging admission for one of humanity's most basic needs. From within the oppressed masses, a hero plans a revolution that could lead them all to freedom!

Iowa State University students participate in Science with Practice undergraduate research program.
A group of more than 25 Iowa State University undergraduate students stretched their learning through research and laboratory experience in the Science with Practice program. Students participating in Science with Practice develop individualized learning agreements and project goals with Iowa State faculty mentors. At the conclusion of the semester, participants presented their projects at a poster session open to the public.

Participated in Carthage's Annual Christmas Festival
Yearly, Carthage College invites the community to celebrate the joy of the holiday season at the annual Carthage Christmas Festival, three performances of readings and music in the A. F. Siebert Chapel. These annual concerts are the College's Christmas gift to the community. Tickets to the Christmas Festival have been free since the festival began more than 20 years ago.

Participated in Carthage Theatre's "Stage Kiss"
When two actors with a history are thrown together as romantic leads in a forgotten 1930's melodrama, they quickly lose touch with reality as the story they enact onstage follows them offstage. Stage Kiss is the newest play from award-winning playwright Sarah Ruhl, an artist gifted with a singular voice. It was performed at Carthage Oct. 23-31, 2015.

Iowa State University College of Agriculture and Life Sciences students honored with Fred Foreman scholarship
A group of sixty student leaders in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences were honored for receiving the Fred Foreman Scholarship for Growth in Leadership Participation. The Foreman Scholarship is awarded to top students who serve the college through leadership roles as peer mentors, club officers and competitive teams with a preference for students in activities that assist in recruiting prospective students.

Upper classmen chosen as Peer Mentors to help new Iowa State students adjust to college life
Experienced Iowa State University students are serving as Peer Mentors for 2015-2016 Learning Communities. Mentors help new students make the transition to college life. These selected Peer Mentors are often involved with organizing study groups, social events, and out-of-class activities.
